Exercise physiologists specialise in clinical exercise-based therapy for people with a broad range of health issues to prevent or manage chronic disease and injuries. They work together with participants, families and carers to optimize physical function, health and wellness. Exercise therapy programs include strength, stability, fitness, posture, balance and flexibility to increase functional abilities and improve quality of life and independence.
