Nikki has highly specialised experience within the field of paediatric physiotherapy having worked within the area for over 15 years. She has a passion for working with infants, children, adolescents, and their families and has a significant amount of knowledge and expertise from her clinical involvement with a large variety of paediatric conditions, acquired through her work in private practice, as well as her prior employment at three of the largest children’s hospitals: the Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Nikki believes treatment should be fun and engaging for children, using play-based activities to achieve the outcomes required. As a mother of three children and with her extensive background in family health care, she adopts a family centred approach to care and helps build confidence in parents to assist their children in achieving their desired goals.
