Psychological Assessments
A psychosocial disability is a disability that may arise from a mental health issue.
While not everyone who has a mental health condition will have a psychosocial disability, some people may have a disability resulting from their mental health condition. This can have a severe impact on their ability to maintain relationships and undertake day-to-day activities.
Connect2Care Psychologists perform assessments for people who may qualify for the NDIS, such as:
At Connect2Care, we provide evidence-based psychological therapy to infants, young children, and adolescents up to the age of 18 years.
We believe a child’s early years are crucial in determining how they will learn and develop later in life and use early childhood intervention strategies that are both family-centred and strengths-based. We work with families, caregivers, and their broader support networks to achieve the best outcomes for our paediatric clients.
This includes working closely with parents, grandparents, schools, kindergartens, and childcare centres to provide consistent and holistic therapeutic support.
NDIS early intervention support services assist children with a disability from ages zero to seven. This is an ideal time for children to gain tools that will help them throughout their lifetime.
Some conditions that we support include, but are not limited to:
As part of our holistic approach to allied health support, we also offer a range of NDIS approved paediatric services, including speech pathology, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, exercise physiology and dietetic teams.
We understand that leaving the house and travelling to appointments can be challenging. At Connect2Care, we have mobile Psychologists who specialise in behavioural intervention and support for people with a disability. Our mobile psychological appointments can take place either at home or in another preferred environment. We also offer NDIS approved psychological services remotely via telehealth.
If you need to see a psychologist, contact our helpful support team to discuss your requirements, or you can submit your query directly online.
In addition to our mobile support, we also welcome clients to come into our Melbourne, Brisbane or Sydney centres for appointments. Appointments take place in private and accessible spaces to ensure our clients and their families feel secure and comfortable.

Connect2Care comprises a leading team of clinicians and support staff. We are continually looking to expand our services, with a focus on growing our team of allied health professionals across Australia.
We value teamwork, trust, fostering growth, listening to our client’s needs, and being part of the communities that we live and work in.
Our new graduate program spans 12 months and helps create confident and experienced allied health professionals. We have a strong focus on providing regular one-on-one supervision, mentoring and continued learning opportunities.
Connect2Care is a leader in providing NDIS jobs in Australia. We have a substantial framework to provide quality in-house professional development, as well as support our staff to seek external professional development from leaders in the fields of disability allied health care services.
Staying true to our standards as registered NDIS providers and allied health professionals and conveying them throughout the company is also of high importance. We put a strong emphasis on learning and growth from both a clinical perspective and non-clinical, especially in the area of NDIS therapies and provide ongoing support and mentoring for you to do so.
Connect2Care have multi-disciplinary teams based in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, the ACT, and Western Australia. We offer a predominately mobile allied health service, allowing therapy to be provided within one’s own environment, whether that be at school, home or a local community setting. This ensures our team can help build strength and skill where our clients spend most of their time.
In addition, we have state-of-the-art hubs in Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney, providing a safe and comfortable place to support clients who have a preference to come into our practices.
An additional model of care offered by our team of registered NDIS providers is that of telehealth, whereby we can support clients who are unable to access our face-to-face services, including NDIS therapies, and provide them the opportunity to engage using teleconferencing tools. This is particularly beneficial for clients residing in rural or remote areas, as well as those individuals who may be immunocompromised.
Our practice was specifically established to meet the needs of people living with disabilities in our community, and we are a proud National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) registered provider.
At Connect2Care, we can support clients with NDIS funding to increase their independence, improve their community access and, where appropriate, strive to participate economically in society. Our founders have been working with children and adults with disabilities for nearly two decades, and have a deep understanding of the complex nature of the NDIS and therapeutic disability support services.
We strive to make your journey through the NDIS a seamless one and have specialised NDIS consultants on hand to assist you with navigating
the process.
